Ecolony is an ecological proposal for collective housing in Valverde city in El Hierro of Canaria islands. Ecolony consists of a dense network of 60 house units organized into 6 compact clusters connected by a public esplanade that contains social and commercial life of the community. Ecolony employs the most sophisticated smart customization technology to reduce costs and carbon emissions both in construction methods (digital fabrication), and in renewable energy distribution management.
