Amarathon
Amarathon is a new typology for student residence in the historial area of Kerameikos in Athens that can be repeated in multiple lots. Inspired by the the “ostrakon” ceramic crack found in the area, the form is generated through a series of “cracks” that become voids for light, air and green while being courtyards or entrances. When amarathon spreads, they connect to those ones of similar nearby lots, to transform the neighborhood to building-pathways.
