The graduate travel studio investigates the agency of installations and interventions in public space in the context of the economic crisis in Athens, Greece. In these explorations design acts as a strategic site-specific or audience-specific intervention in the public space / domain that essentially forms an architectural activism. Installations act as communication devices through users’ engagement and participation often intervening and actively altering "problematic" situations.WIT Fall 2013
